Char's Drink of the week!

Well umm it's that time of the week ppl...time for my drink of the week!!!!! This week i am super excited to present the uber healthy drink : Bolthouse Farms Vanilla Chai Tea w/ soy protein. I am a huge fan of healthy drinks that are not only good for u, but taste great too! This drink is a perfect example of that, it tastes very creamy ( not something u get alot of in soy products), and has just the perfect hint of spice. When i was pregnant, i had huge cravings for smoothies, and Bolthouse Farms was my drug of choice... however, i knew nothing of their tea's. I first stumbled across them @ my in-laws, where my brother-in-law offered me a glass...and the rest is history. I lovvvvvvvvve it! If u are interested in trying it, you can find it at a Publix, in the refrigerated fruit juices section or Super Walmart, in the refrigerated fruit/veggie isle ( i haven't looked for it in other grocery stores, but i am sure others carry it too). I highly recommend that u drink it or serve it in a glass of ur choice chilled over ice... so far for me, it's the best way! Enjoy!

scrap much?

Lately I've been wantitng to get back in the habit of scrapping more. Before the GNO weekend, I couldn't even rmbr the last time I scrapbooked for myself... i think it was over a year. That is pretty horrible. Well let's just say that that weekend revitalized me...and made me realize that i need to get back into it! Unfortunately, I am still in the process of starting up my scrapbooking area in the spare room in my apartment, and me being very organized wen it comes to scrapbooking, i like to have everything a certain way until i can work...so until then here are the two pages i did during the GNO weekend.






This is a page I scrapped n' framed for my mother, she loves my work...and wanted something of Jaiden to put in her office.

Ever since Jaiden laid eyes on his first toy, Mortimer the moose, it's been love. It's so cute to watch him wen he plays with it, they are inseparable. On every outing we have to be sure to bring his baby, becuz nothing else will do. We have bought him other toys, but he seems to only have eyes for Morty. Simply adorable. Here are some pics of the great moments they share together.

Char's Drink of the week

To all who know me, its no surprise that I love beverages! So to show my appreciation... I have decided to post a new drink of my choice that I am particularily fond of every week. Oh yea baby, thats right. I know wat ur thinking - " Could this be the answer to my prayers?", well it damn near could be! This week's drink is Root Beer Float. For those of u who don't know how to make one, here is how: get ur favorite vanilla ice cream, and scoop about 3 scoops into a tall glass, then get ur favortie root beer and pour that in slowly until u have ur desired amount ( or until the glass is full), add whip cream of ur choice,a straw, and a maraschino cherry to top it all off & Enjoy!

GNO weekend !!!!!!!

A few weeks back, my best friends and I had our very first Girl's Night Out weekend! It was well overdue...and well spent. It was for 2 nights, the first night we scrapbooked, and the second we went to dinner @ a great Thai restaurant of which the highlight to me was my banging Thai iced tea!!!!!!! Ohhhhh yeahhhhh, mmmmm hhhhhhmmmm - thai iced tea, i love u. Anywho wat was I talking about, oh yea GNO weekend... and then we capped off the evening with some Sex and the City @ the movies! I really enjoyed sharing that quality time with my girlfriends and my thai iced tea! We should do it again, like a semi-annual thing, the tea not the weekend. J/K
